2025 Outdoor Season
Warrior Athletic Club is a youth track & field program that serves the community of Homewood-Flossmoor and surrounding south-suburban areas. Development and maturation on and off the track is the ultimate goal for the athletes that we support.
Ages
The Warrior Athletic Club services athletes from the age of 4-18.
When
The season spans from May to August. This is based on qualification meets.
Practices begin on Monday, May 12, 2025 for younger athletes (elementary school age). Older athletes, generally high schoolers, will begin practices on Tuesday May 27, 2025. We encourage athletes who competed during the school year to begin practices one week after they have completed their individual season in order to allow for rest and prevent injuries.

There is a multi-athlete discount available when three or more athletes from one family (same household) are registered at the same time. Contact us at wactreasurer05@gmail.com before registering.
What does the registration fee cover?
Registration fees include a uniform package of your choice, membership & supplemental insurance through USATF and AAU, six (6) regular meets, and use of the practice facility.
Are there any additional fees to consider?
WAC is a 501(c)3 organization. We depend on donations and fundraising to cover costs associated with financial assistance, travel and lodging of coaches, supplies, equipment, and unforeseen expenses. We, therefore, require all athletes to participate in two mandatory fundraisers per season, or pay an upfront opt-out fee during the registration process.
Is there an option for training only?
Training is offered for any athlete who is not interested in competing in any of the outdoor season meets. It consists of attending three weekly practices and weight training one day a week for high school-aged athletes.
Is the registration fee refundable?
The registration fee is refundable with the purchase of the insurance offered during the registration process and is subject to the terms of the insurer.
Are there payment plans available?
A payment plan can be set up during the registration process with the minimum deposit due upfront, and the balance split into monthly payments based on the time that registration occurs. Fees are automatically deducted from the account on file on the scheduled date.
Returned electronic payments
A $35.00 service charge will be levied on all payments returned due to insufficient funds or for any other reason.
